Art and creating was never in Tim’s field of view. It wasn’t something he even
entertained as a child. It wasn’t until he was 41 and needed a way to save a cherished
family heirloom that he had his first encounter creating something from nothing. This
exhibit has been curated so you can walk along through Tim’s creative journey from that first creation until today.

Tim grew up between Albany NY and Greenfield. He has lived in every New England state except Maine, as well as Nevada and most recently North Carolina. He currently lives in Easthampton with his wife Nikki. Tim has used several forms of media such as collage, colored pencils, gouache, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal and ink in his various explorations. He is most inspired by the beauty and vastness of the universe as well as the intricate details of the micro world. This is showcased in his more recent pieces using ink.
Tim has previously shown his work at Kwench in Amherst, Monsoon Roastery in Springfield and most recently in the community room at Greenfields Market in Greenfield.
The artistic community in Western Mass and beyond has been nothing short of amazing in accepting him and his creations into the fold. Tim’s hope is that anyone who sees his work knows that it is never too late to start creating. It’s never too late to restart an artistic endeavor after years of being dormant. The joy and expression that creating brings is a truly amazing experience that should be realized by everyone!
