About the event
In this program, kids age 12 - 15 will explore the properties of ceramic clay and learn both basic handbuilding and wheel throwing. They will learn how to work with clay at its various stages from wet to dry and create finished pieces.
This 90 minute class is held from 2:30pm - 4:00pm on Wednesdays, October 29th, November 5th, 12th, 19th, December 3rd, 10th, 17th. NO CLASS: November 26th. Students may arrive at 2:20 for a snack (provided); prompt pick up is expected. Class will be held in our new 1st floor clay studio.
ALL art materials are provided! Clay, glaze, and firing included; shared tools available.
