About the event
Come play with clay! Whether you just want to get your hands in some clay or have an idea for your next handbuilding project, you are welcome to join the Monthly Saturday Handbuilding Studio. During each month-long session there will be a project idea to get you started and demos based on student interest. Techniques covered may include building solid, pinching, coiling, slab building, using forms of support while building, creating different surface textures, stamping & rolling. During class time we will create; additional Glaze Days will be for glazing your work. Beginners will be given options for projects or are free to just experiment. Advanced students will be supported in taking their work to the next level.
All ages; children under 12 should register with caregiver who is also registered. This is a handbuilding and sculpting opportunity. Wheels will not be available for use during this class. This Soft…
