Friday, July 31st 5pm-7pm, Instructed by Al Spruill For Artists 13yo+, open to all level artists with no experience necessary Second Floor Art Room (stairs)
5:00-7:00pm We are so happy to have Alejandra Spruill back at Artspace, teaching some killer collaging techniques!
Come cut, tear, layer, and explore - where there are no rules, just materials, curiosity, and time to create.
Al Spruill is back for a collage evening around what monsters live within us, inspired by Wade Boswell's exhibition in the Artspace Gallery. We’ll provide the tools - magazines, paper scraps, glue, scissors, and more - and you bring whatever mood you’re in. Whether you’re making something abstract, narrative, messy, or minimal, collage is a space to follow what feels good and see what unfolds.
No experience needed, and nothing is too precious. Come as you are, play a little, and leave with whatever you made along the way.
