In a relaxing environment, explore the sensuous way clay moves slowly under your fingers to take shape. There is a mindful way of communicating with the clay that will settle your body as well as shape the clay into a vessel full of the stillness you give to it. This slowing down is a gift in itself and also will improve your throwing and hand-building as you come to a deeper understanding of how clay moves.
All levels welcome! Depending on your experience level, this class will include how to add feet, decorative shapes and lids to your vessels. Each class will begin with an invitation to center your body in the space and end with an opportunity to share your creations. A perfect way to end the work or school…
