Tuesday Handbuilding: September 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, October 6th, 13th, & 20th
In this class, students will explore the many methods of hand building functional ware with clay. We will work with techniques like coil building, slab building, sculpting, and pinching- as well as learning surface decoration options. Students can expect to make items like spoons, planters, small sculptures, wall hangings and even dishes. This class is appropriate for beginners and experienced students. Beginners will learn the basics of handling clay and the techniques above; experienced students will refine their skills and explore new forms.

Clay classes are held in our first-floor studio, with ramp access at the back of the building.
