Saturday Handbuilding Studio: September 12th, 19th, 26th, October 3rd, 10th, & 17th
Come play with clay, whether you just want to get your hands in some clay or have an idea for your next handbuilding project! Techniques covered will include pinching, coiling, slab building, using forms of support while building, creating different surface textures, stamping & rolling.Beginners will be given options for projects or are free to just experiment. Advanced students will be supported in taking their work to the next level. All ages; children under 12 should register with caregiver who is also registered. This is a handbuilding and sculpting opportunity focused on small works. Student who wish to make larger works will need to buy additional clay. Wheels will not be available for use during this class.
