About the event
Intermediate wheel throwing is for students who want to expand on their knowledge of basic skills to explore new forms and refine techniques. We may focus on piece series, expanding height and width, surface design and advanced glaze techniques, etc. Students should feel confident in centering clay, making a 5” tall cylinder, and trimming.
This class is held from 6:00pm - 8:30pm on Thursday, September 18th, 25th, October 2nd, 9th, and 16th.
Class will be held in our new 1st floor clay studio.
ALL art materials are provided! Glaze, firing, and up to 25 lbs clay included; shared tools available. Additional clay available for purchase. Please note: this is our "soft launch" session in our new studio. The session is two weeks shorter than subsequent sessions.
