About the event
In this class, students will explore the many methods of hand building functional ware with clay. We will work with techniques like coil building, slab building, sculpting, and pinching- as well as learning surface decoration options.
Students can expect to make items like spoons, planters, small sculptures, wall hangings and even dishes.
This class is appropriate for beginners and experienced students. Beginners will learn the basics of handling clay and the techniques above; experienced students will refine their skills and explore new forms.
This class is held from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 16th, 23rd, 30th, October 7th, 14th.
Class will be held in our new 1st floor clay studio.
