About the event
Learn how to throw pots on the wheel! In this class, students will work on the basic skills needed to use a pottery wheel, like centering clay, pulling walls, creating basic forms, and trimming to create functional ware. We will also learn how to finish and glaze.
This class is appropriate for both brand new beginners and people who have used a wheel before but want to focus on basic skill-building.
This class is held from 6:00pm - 8:30pm on Wednesday, September 17th, 24th, October 1st, 8th, and 15th.
Class will be held in our new 1st floor clay studio.
ALL art materials are provided! Glaze, firing, and up to 25 lbs clay included; shared tools available. Additional clay available for purchase.
