My work draws from otherworldly scenes in everyday life to build narrative. With a dreamlike and quasi surrealist approach, the pieces serve as vessels for storytelling, healing, and fostering connection.
There is a powerful pull toward the strange. I find beauty in looking at the remnants of transformation – what is present yet invisible, what rots and how it transitions over time, and what evokes a visceral reaction. I use traditional fine art and craft techniques and apply them to contemporary issues to create pieces which evoke an ethereal feel, charged with optimism and a strong vignette of vulnerability.
